iplayer has lost the sound

Iplayer has gone soundless. Youtube works so it’s not my computer or is it?. Is anyone else having the same problem?

There may be an issue with some Browsers, e.g. Firefox.

In a year or two, I gather Adobe Flash is being phased out,

I say this, because I was recently installing Linux Ubuntu on an old laptop/
