    Repeating Words

When I reply to a message on here, a private message or trying to amend one of my own posts I'm finding words or entire lines are appearing twice or three times. Does anyone else find this?

    What's going on?

    Yes, happens to me too.
It is keeping an eye on where the prompt is positioned to see what you are actually typing or amending.
    Annoying indeed.

Not happening here, so it doesn't seem to be a general bug?

I think this happened some years back, but it only seems to happen in certain browsers.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Found this message on the vBulletin forum from the Support Team:

"I know occasionally a line or lines will repeat on my screen- but this is a browser display issue not a vBulletin issue. If you "view source" of the page if the double words don't exist in the source it's just the browser corrupting the display making "ghost" images. "

Do we know which browsers show the problem?

                Perhaps people will tell us!

So am I, but #3 still applies, so it doesn't seem to be that.

Maybe, but only if those experiencing the problem have recently changed theirs? (I haven't changed mine in yonks.)

Never changed mine. I've only been on IE8 for a few months and have only had the problem with this new laptop. I never experienced this problem with Vista which was on my old laptop.

The first time it happened I had a right old time deleting the supposed double image only to find the whole thing had gone!

IE8, on a desktop computer of which I haven't changed settings the last two years or so.
