Can I link to a document?

Is it possible for me to link to a self-generated Word document? I know how to link to photos with Photobucket, but this is rather more basic. I certainly don't want to copy and paste.

I've tried the attachments button, but it tells me that Word files (in several different formats) are invalid files.

If you have a Dropbox account (it's easy to open one if you haven't) you can upload your document to it, generate a link to it, and share the link with those you want to have it.

It's just like Photobucket, but it takes docs too.
