I thought it just might be useful to post one method of searching the BBC Message Boards. (Though there are probably other better ways.)
In Google search go to "Advanced Search" (in my browser this option is displayed by clicking on the "cog wheel" at the top right when doing a Google search).
In the "site or domain" field enter: "http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio3/" (without the quotes)
Then enter your search terms.
When you select any of the results the thread will initially be displayed in a format that is less than ideal - but you can change that back to the original MB format by editing the URL of the webpage - deleting "/html" from the URL, e.g.
Initial URL: "http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio3/html/NF7497566?thread=7900235"
Edited URL: "http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio3/NF7497566?thread=7900235"
The same URLs as links, so you can see the difference:
Initial URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio3/ht...thread=7900235
Edited URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio3/NF...thread=7900235
