    A little 'glitch' The clock is stuck at 5.10am

    and says I am the only poster. It doesn't matter in the least but as it is 8.43 now I just though I would mention it. Does it affect anything else?

    All times are GMT. The time now is 08:51.

      Well,on my computer it keeps going back to 5.10am when I probably put it on first. [Yes, I get up too early!}

        Very strange. My computer now shows O9:02. Nothing wrong with getting up too early - as long it's balanced by going to bed too early.

            One thing I've never quite understood with these 'internet times' - does the timing come from some external source or is it related to the time on your own computer (I know, I know, I could fiddle about and change the computer's clock but ...)?

            [Additional point: if you don't reload the page the time won't change!!!]
            It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

              FF the clock on my computer keeps PERFECT time. The clock at the bottom of the page has just jumped 14 minutes to more or less catch up. A small blemish on a wonderful site though. saly

                saly - are you using the back button at all? If you go back far enough the clock reverts to what it was when you last looked at that page. It updates when you reload or move to a new page.
