    Finding 'auto-saved' (un-posted) messages

I inadvertently deleted a post I was working on; as it was quite a long one (for me ) I'd like to recover it rather than start again from scratch, but don't know how.

Ah - I just noticed after I clicked on 'post message' that there was a button saying 'restore autosaved ...', So I guess that's how to do it; unfortunately I lost mine by leaving the page. Is there any way to recover it?

I think if you go back to the thread, and click on the 'Reply to Thread', you may see the little red message again. It seems to work if you reply to a specific post rather than the thread. May be too late now - sorry
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Thanks, I'll try & remember that for future mishaps . Unfortunately in this case I was starting the thread (on the Dutchman) so that solution probably wouldn't have worked. I re-wrote the post.
