How do we insert video clips into posts?

Seems that some posters are managing to get video clips into their posts - particularly on the Jazz board. I haven't figured out how to do this.

Is there an approved method?

Never tried to do it, but the film icon "insert video" (second from the right on the reply toolbar) seems a good starting point.

Yep, it works - at least for YouTube videos.
