From time to time I get asked for them. Especially if they're threads that get used regularly (but not necessarily frequently).
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Should have said they allow key announcements to remain prominently displayed - House Rules, Legalities & About Us, Privacy

Suffolkcoastal's symphonic journey posts deserve to be collected and put in a thread or sticky of their own,if it is feasable and if he agrees of course.

I can see that, ff, but now we have a posse of them at the top of Talking About Music, all above the threads that were actually responded to most recently.

I think I've mentioned before that I've had another request that Sc's epic symphonic posts be collated and made immediately available...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Could I also request that these excellent posts should be re-formatted so that every paragraph has a line space, to facilitate reading.

Or do I just need new spex?

That's why I made them stickies, but perhaps there is a better way to display them?

Another subforum? Merging them into a single thread would make them a bit unwieldy.

No i think the 'stickies' are something else, aren't they? His surveys of broadcast music on R3.

I meant and I think Edge meant his list of 20th C. symphonies, his 'Symphonic Journey' thread/s... Or am I hopelessly confused?! Just home after a busy week! Somebody will come along and clarify!

Could you extract Suffolkcoastal's posts, and then delete any of his that weren't specifically about his journey?

Yes it's the symphonic journey posts that I meant.
They are too good to be buried in 'what are you listening to now' IMO.
