I have recently received a couple of private messages from a contributor to the boards, but when I hit "reply" and send a message back to him, there is no trace of it having been sent in my sent box and I presume it has not gone. Can anyone help me?
Problems sending private messages.

here you can tick copy to your inbox as well as a notification that it has been read
I believe you have to do these ticks with each missive sent

If you want to save a copy I think there is an option to tick whereby all Sent Messages are saved. Mine are certainly automatically saved. But you have to select it. Bryn, I think you usually get a warning message telling you your folder is full and you should delete some of your Inbox/Sent Messages.
Yes - under Settings > General Settings, you'll find the option to 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default'.It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Anyway, the option for saving sent messages by default has been discovered ...It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
