I was going to change the word "Hetherington" to "Heatherwick" in post 1150, dated 13 August, of Olympinonsense but there is no edit button. Is there a time limit on editing posts? As the flame is returning for the Paralympics, it would be good to get it right.
Time limit on editing posts?

I've checked on the ACP and there is a time limit for members, set at 10080 minutes which is ............... 168 hours which is one week. After that you can either ask me (or Andrew!) to make the change - or of course post a correction.
I suspect the reason for the time limit (which I set at 1 week but can be disabled) is to prevent arguments about who said what or perhaps for people to hide what they said some time afterwards. A week seems like long enough for most posts to cease to be current.
I'll correct itIt isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I don't go through all my past posts checking for accuracy. This one popped into my head.
