Does anyone know if this forum is available on tapatalk so I could view and add posts via my mobile?

I think I know the answer is, No. We keep getting various updates that include stuff for mobile phones but I'll ask Andrew what he thinks and whether we're subscribed for them. I think I just delete the emails they send

Thanks. Appreciate you checking. It would be great if this forum was on there... would make it easier to keep up with posts during the proms.

Do you mean while you are actually at the Proms? Perhaps this should be referred to http://www.for3.org/forums/showthrea...-audience-quot

oh Flosshilde if only I could get to the Proms on regular basis (alas finance and childcare prohibit this). I was referring to keeping up with people's comments about the Proms from my living room!!

I'm not very familiar with mobile technology, but this on the vBulletin forum suggests that Tapatalk is not supported.

It seems that ForumRunner is supported.

Well, I was on the point of moving the OP to The Refreshment Room

                That's OK then

Living in Glasgow I don't get to them much now, either. & this year I deliberately planned not to touch LOndon during the Olympics, in the expectation that the city would be heaving. It appears not, though, & it might have been a good time to visit

Is Tapatalk what tapas bar clients use whenever they want to comunicate with each other?

I came across Tapatalk recently on another forum. What's the point, if a forum can be accessed by a web browser? Indeed, I started to wonder what the point of most apps is anyway? With the the advent of improved HTML and browsers, won't many of these excuses for branding, subcriptions and other charges for apps become superfluous?

If makes the forum much easier to read and to navigate on a device with a small screen such as a mobile phone. There's no need to keep zooming in and out to be able to read the text.

I use Tapatalk to access a couple of other forums and wouldn't dream of going back to using the browser for them.

Spot on. Trying to read a forum on a small smartphone is masochistic....you are forever scrolling left, right, zoom in, zoom out.

Tapatalk reformats the posts for a small screen plus a load of other goodies.
