Yes. Send me a PM with your preferred name.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

As I no longer have any connection with the Old Felixstowe Community Association (OFCA), I have been asked by that body to kindly change my profile name. So I have (I was born in Norfolk!).

If only Dr Fox had taken as much trouble over Mr Wittery's paperwork, much tragedy might have been avoided

I've spent nearly a year (on and off) wondering what Ofcachap meant.

Maybe some people should consider changing their avatars at the same time.

                    I like Norfolk's medieval-scribe-bookplate-like avatar

It's based on our village sign. The monk represents the old priory on the site of which the parish church now stands. The ship represents the fleet with which King Edward II sailed for France from the nearby 'King's Fleet' - a stretch of water now separated from the river by sea defences. The arch represents a Roman settlement.

oh, it's a ship, I thought perhaps the monk was typing his memoirs

                        thanks for info.
