Search Headers per Page

Is there any way to incease the number of headers per page when searching?

I am particularly thinking of clicking 'What's New?' and only getting 25 entries before a second page is started. This means nearly every time I come on line I have to wait and then click on Page 2 to start looking at the oldest new content. Not a particlulary onerous task, I agree, but it would be so much nicer to have everything visible at once.

(I also notice that the maximum number of threads per page in one's personal settings is 40. I sometimes when hurried miss later posts by not noticing that it says 'Page n of n+1' and thinking that I am viewing the last offering. I would be quite happy to have my setting at 100 or so. )

Ouf! Well, I've searched the admin settings and can't see anything for What's New?, nor can I can find anything on the vBulletin forum. I may (not sure) have increased the number of posts per page to 100. But - you know me - this may refer to something quite different. If people complain, I shall blame you . Let me know if at least half of your request has been dealt with.

I don't really want to affect everyone else in case they like the status quo. I was hoping for a personal setting.

Mmmm. Mine neither. I'd better set it back to 40 before people start complaining about something or other

In the last few weeks, my number of threads per page has changed from 20 to 136. At the same time, the black type and the red bars look a bit washed out. On checking General Settings, I noticed that thread per page was back on default so I changed it to 20. And no change whatsoever has occurred. I'm still with 136.

Mine has stayed at 40, which is still the maximum in my General Settings.

Well, the Omnipotence is nothing to do with me. I thought I altered something to 60 but the only change I can see is in the list of Who's Online which shows 100 per page.

I may have increased the What's New? list from 25 to 40, but as there are only 19 showing for me at the moment I don't know if there will be a page break at 25 as usual.

Result! I now have 27 of 27; so that's the first part of the request answered .

Oh calamity! I was so taken with the magic 25 that my logic left me completely!
