    Is strikethrough text possible?

Is it possible to format text as "strikethrough"?

I can't see anything to do that so I looked at the vBulletin website. They give the codes as [s]text[/s] but that doesn't seem to work.

    Any thoughts?

You can discover Bryn's magic trick by hitting 'Reply With Quote', to reveal the code he used.
            Not that I understand it.

Tut tut. Just click on the little winking smiley () in the message #3. It's a link. The one in this message isn't. I do sometimes despair at the lack of use of basic Internet searches by some who post here. (Not that one, either).

Nor is the one in mine!
But that explains why I didn't understand the code that appeared!

I must admit that the lack of a change of colour when I made the winking smiley a link did surprise me. All I did was use Duck Duck Go to search for "strike through".

A novelty introduced some while back by moi. Is it [STRIKE] which is then followed by [STRIKE], the second STRIKE being preceded by a forward slash ?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

That's in no way easier than the solution I found.

                        Well strike me down.

                        Thanks, ff and Bryn.

Odd the the vBulletin website has [s]..[/s]

I think the strikeout can be useful when editing something previously posted.

And I can't even remember how I set it up. I just knew r3ok had it and we didn't

Why the sad face? I struck through the errant phrase.
