    can't find the cancel button

If I change my mind about posting a reply how do I cancel it? Other forums I use have a cancel button.

Click on Edit, underneath "Delete this post in the following manner" a box will appear with a small circle which you click in the middle, where a dot appears. Then click on the box Delete Post.

if you haven't clicked the 'submit post' button just click the 'go back one page' in your browser (in Firefox the left pointing arrow in the bar at top)
if you have clicked the post then you need to edit the post (or delete it as above)

There should be a Cancel button if you Quick Reply or Reply with Quote. If you go to Go Advanced there isn't one, but you can just not post and go to whichever page you want.

Thank you for replies. It would seem that for the Go Advanced option I've been doing the right thing by accident luckily and that was the one which had worried me.

....Of course you must make effort/strive hard to become one of those formulites that never makes a mistake, nor ever just writes off the cuff and regrets later....I initially I thought that that was what the # go advanced button was for....

Course we're now wondering what was in the post you managed to delete. Well I am anyway!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
