'New Posts' lists have got shorter

The 'how to' question, if there is one, is how to check easily and quickly whether someone has posted later than you on a thread, or replied to a point you have made.

The New Posts pages often ran to 2 - 3 pages in former times: now they have gone in the other direction. I'm not sure if the reset is manual or automatic. But I would prefer a slightly longer list to be there in the morning - a page or so would be good.

If, instead of New Posts, you go to Quick Links (Home Page & Messages views only) further along to the right you should find the menu offers 'Today's Posts'. This usually places a bar beneath the ones that are literally 'Today's' but still lists earlier ones which have been automatically deleted from What's New.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
