Hello '64. And welcome from me. Well if we called ourselves the BBC Radio 3 forum, it might suggest we were part of the BBC. Historically, a lot of us did post on the old BBC messageboards, but they were closed three years ago.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

You're not a fan of neglected British composers by any chance are you ?

Out of interest, how did you find this forum? I recently found it when the January schedule changes were announced and I googled in search of media coverage and comment, and stumbled upon this Forum!

EdgeleyRob ... no, not really but I'm always one for supporting the underdog

Honoured Guest: I think I just googled Radio 3 forum.

Glad to see there are quite a few folks who are active on't.

Greetings from across the border (Italy is only about 6 miles away from me as the crow flies although you'd have to climb to over 2,500 metres to get to it. My suggestion on jazz is to read Stanfordian's posts on "What are you listening to now?" in 'Talking About Music' - and then try and copy his listening. I don't think that he minds - and doing so has certainly widened my musical horizons.
