It is truly a privilege to be a member of such online communities, as it is here in The Radio 3 Forum. Thank you very much indeed for your personal invitation, french frank, issued so many years ago. Thank you, too, for granting me membership here this weekend. In the circumstances, I should just like to send my love and best wishes to the entire R3OK community. What will survive of us, Richard Tarleton, is love.

Hmm, depends on your mood & current or recent r3 listenings but most people's default thread seems to be Platform 3 where the irascible oftimes bumps into the provocative, although it is generally friendly & supportive; I'm sure you'll recognise certain characters from the MB's...

Simon, how often do you think they give weekend passes on Mount Olympus?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

You could cordially recommend to leave a message where the sun don't shine ....though to be fair you should also leave a torch to hand just beyond the threshold....

If any one has been wondering why the kleines c has not put in an appearance lately, it is because I - who am something of a sadist - have it trapped in a small cardboard box, where it seems happily enough engaged in testing the truth of the Schrödinger paradox. As long as one does not look, it is simultaneously both alive and dead; so I expect that means it will be away for some time. But one - possibly final - message has emerged: I am asked "to forward its best regards to The Radio 3 Forum community."
