Many posters will recognise kleines c as a long-standing poster both on the original BBC message boards and also of R3OK. It is truly a privilege to be a member of such online communities, as it is here in The Radio 3 Forum. Thank you very much indeed for your personal invitation, french frank, issued so many years ago. Thank you, too, for granting me membership here this weekend. In the circumstances, I should just like to send my love and best wishes to the entire R3OK community. What will survive of us, Richard Tarleton, is love.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

If any one has been wondering why the kleines c has not put in an appearance lately, it is because I - who am something of a sadist - have it trapped in a small cardboard box, where it seems happily enough engaged in testing the truth of the Schrödinger paradox. As long as one does not look, it is simultaneously both alive and dead; so I expect that means it will be away for some time. But one - possibly final - message has emerged: I am asked "to forward its best regards to The Radio 3 Forum community."
