for convenient referenceThere is insufficient protection here for me from the elements. I have worked hard to try in the last 22 months to promote programmes, to support those who want to improve the standards on Radio 3, to be entertaining as well as being entertained and to provide factual information on political situations where there hasn't been transparency. I don't feel that this has been appreciated.
My posts today are having to go through "management's" firewall. I feel that I have been subjected to a lot of verbal abuse by certain characters which has caused me considerable distress. I don't think I should have been placed in such distress when I had never attacked the perpetrators personally.
Management is of the view that no one has been callous towards me. In other words, I have no right to have my feelings accepted as the truth. So disturbed was I this morning that I responded in similar style to the ways of those who have disrupted my life and my happiness and to post messages in the style of the kinds that others have posted this week. That apparently in management's view is below the standard required of me and also concerning to other people. So I have been censored.
Thank you to genuine friends on the forum and kind people who sent me e-mails today. The position though now is that I have been left to put up with the verbal abuse without any means of defending myself. I would name names now but I'm not permitted. I can't get into my e-mails and my picture of sunshine can't be changed when actually others have turned it to black. I hope they sleep soundly. I feel as if I have been used by those who run the forum and have been badly let down by it. I have no faith in its judgement.

I have now received word from Lat, who thanks you for your kind wishes and concern on his behalf.
He says that he is now registered as a guest member only, so he can follow the posts but cannot submit any posts in reply.
It would appear that he has become upset by some of the confrontational abuse from certain parties and would not consider, for the time being at least, rejoining as a full member. (No names, no pack drill).
Nothing further at the moment, but I am happy to convey any member's wishes (but of course, he can read them himself if you post them on this thread. FF permitting, of course)

Lat on the other hand always devoted a huge amount of thought to whatever he posted, was more often than not well-informed, and always went to inordinate lengths to get his pov across as as clearly as he could express it.Comment

seemed to be passionately interested in a wide range of musics and had some interesting things to say and was amazed by the Christine Balfa triangle album
