I have to share an office room with three other colleagues, and we get along well, but one feature that really promotes the collegial atmosphere is that we all enjoy listening to Chicago’s classical FM station, WFMT, on an ancient tuner that was left behind by someone who retired years before I started there. It helps keep one sane during the most challenging days, but more importantly it livens up the dreadfully boring ones.
      Welcome, Grinch.

Pluperfect in my case - down to all the rain we've been having - and tense, at present.
