Hello and thanks for having me. I'm a long time lurker who felt I ought to join! I've enjoyed the discussions for a long time and hope to continue to enjoy your informative and (occasionally) caustic comments! I'm a fan of all 'live' broadcasts and tend not to listen to anything before 1pm (except the wonderful Through The Night on catch-up) and still feel the loss of the specialised programmes that used to be broadcast i.e. CD Masters with Rob Cowan, Opera in Action with Michael White, anything with Catherine Bott and Voices with Iain Burnside. I know the world's a different place but things really DID used to be better in my day :-).

Anyway, thanks for having me and I look forward to your continued ramblings along the corridors of broadcasting house.

Welcome, LvM; the more the merrier. Your screen-name reminds me of 'Ludwig Fan Beethoven' (sic) on the old BBc board, who said he couldn't listen to mono (funny how some things stick in the memory), and set me wondering what happened to other former posters such as 'SimonSays' and Sidney Grew.
