    Hello, tdh1971!

At least you'll get responses here - some of the time. We do our best to support R3 (as well as moan), signal the interesting programmes and encourage discussion. That can be a bit like trying to sprint through waist-deep mud, but you have everything ranging from the very on-topic Building a Library to the very off-topic Platform 3, so hope you'll find time to contribute.

I have no idea why I haven't been here before, it's full of familiar names :)

Anyway, hello to anyone who remembers the poster formerly knows as "Ignorant Rock Fan". I don't spend a lot of time on forums these days, but now I haev been reminded that this place was set up, I'll try to drop in whenever I have the time...

Hello . I've already said 'hello' once on the MA thread, but hello again. Otherwise it looks as if you're being ignored (rather than 'ignorant').

Just had a word with Jules. He says "A small emollient will do quite nicely, thank you."

            Welcome back, IRF.

              IGGY!! Hello and welcome (back)!
I've posted a response to your excellent reviews of the Arnold Festival without realizing your former nom-du-web ... hope you find plenty of time!

Hello Frenchie and pals. I'm delighted to have found this forum after suffering great sadness at the demise of the R3 message board. I look forward to many further discussions of our beloved music with estwhile friends.

                          Hello, I'm new here.

Found this forum randomly on google.

I'm a Radio 3 fan (a rarity in my profession [accounting/finance]), interested in classical, jazz & traditional ethnic music.

Looks like I've found the right place, as this place is full of fans of this kind of music ;)

                          Cheers,
                          Geoff
