    Another brief AWOL

I have to be away tomorrow and Wednesday. But I'll be back. . Hosts take over le cas échéant, please.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

This host will be hors-de-combat guzzling galettes complètes and cidre and listening to Fauré in Brittany

Hope your trip is successful and stress-free, ff

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Not listening to Brittany on foray then...

        Enjoy a much-deserved break, ff.

Don't know about 'enjoy' - but a break, certainly.

Don't whether Rumpole has leapt to it in the last hour (?) - but something worked admirably
