There is, of course, an arcane ritual involved, whose origins are lost in the mists of Langham Place, and known now only to FF. And of course to us initiates. But my lips are sealed.

Well done Cali - now don't let the power go to your head - I'll have to be careful - don't want to get barred for being cheeky or for introducing Spit the Dog to AA!

Great! Does it involve a contrabass sarrusophone and a pint of port?

Further thanks to other gang members for kind words! (The work gets done somehow, in between posts! And yes HS, there is the odd minion I'll gladly share a Chateau Fleet Street with you )

Just out of interest, Caliban - this habit of using a blue pen. Do you have a default setting, or do you have to remember to select the font colour for every message?

And shouldn't we have a GREEN INK option too?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                                no apologies required and thanks!

Re the blue ink - when I first started here, I started to opt for blue so I could check back for duplications etc - a couple of times, I posted the same thing twice, and it was easier to check if it was in a different colour. Thereafter, it became a hablt, and there's no default, I just colour the text blue, it's become sort of automatic ....
