I've moved the original thread to the Basement for a cooling off period. Now that we have a prominent link to the forum just placed on the About the BBC blog, I'd just as soon this thread (at least) was removed from public view. Rather than place a link here, I may issue a password - people to apply to me for the key - if they want to continue. Usually people seem to lose interest if they can't, um, debate, in public ...
