    Apologies

    Hello, everyone

Recent events have caused me to reflect on some of the set-tos I've had with other forum members. I regret that these scapes arose and would like to offer an apology for my part in them. There are certainly no hard feelings on my side relating to what's happening and - I hope - none on anyone else's, either.

I won't be returning to this forum but would like to leave on good terms.

    Thanks. :)

Certainly as far as the administration/moderation of the forum is concerned, you leave 'in good standing' . Thank you for your constructive contributions which usually aroused interest and response!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

"Set-tos" (? "sets-to"?) are often par for the course on these Boards, Mandy. Certainly I hold no grudges or ill-feeling and I shall miss your contributions; I hope you reconsider your "resignation" in due course.

      Very Best Wishes.

Oh. I quite enjoyed having a real life Objectivist to disagree with. I hope you change your mind.

I also hope you re-consider your decision. Think it over during the festive period then return! Do miss your contributions and I don't think anyone was seriously offended by the occasional scrap.

Just a bit concerned to see valued posters leaving the forum.

I agree with Petrushka. If you've done nothing else you have created the "Bargains" thread for which I and I'm sure many others here are grateful.
Take whatever time you need but be sure you will be welcomed back.

                Mandy,
You cannot leave. That is an order! Think how much your Bargains thread has cost me and I have enjoyed every penny (Australian dollar/Euro) of it. Back straight, chin up, man(dryka).

I really like Mandy. He's just so precious and spiky, he is, almost, loveable and adorable, if you ignore him most of the time! Please don't go.

I'd miss your valued obituary service Mandryka - and I hope at the very least to have you to discuss the Ring revival with next autumn, though we'd better be careful what we say about, erm, Wotan

With Christopher Hitchens gone, with whom can we now cross verbal swords and against whose lucid logic can we now test our (often misguided) preconceptions?
