I wonder if ...
... it looks different with a separate title?
Yes, it does a bit. After which interesting experiment - to bed ... G'night all!It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Also...
the logo next to the url (and in my 'history' list) has changed from the nice FOR3 logo, to the generic logo of the forum host..."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I think the reason the new line above is confusing is that a short posting can be confused with the little quotes some people (like me) put 'below the line' in the old style - when there's no posting title, it looks as though the person has submitted an empty message, with a quote below. I think it would be good to delete the upper line if poss.
Thanks for all the efforts! Are there any other tweaks and upgrades we might not have noticed yet?

Andrew's really on the ball, isn't he?
Re the logo, it looked all right to me when I went to bed, but it could have been a cached image. The upgrade shouldn't alter it but obviously did on this occasion. Andrew must have been checking back to the instruction manual again to get it sorted. As for me - Crisis? What crisis?
Re the line and signatures. It does help if people use the smallest point size [size 1] when they compose their signatures; and use italic or bold. That way it won't have the same weight as the rest of the message. IGI's and Da Jazbo's always look fine, but there have been others which I have found a bit confusing.
Many/most features won't be noticeable but are designed to improve the stability and security of the software. One thing I noticed which may have arrived with the previous upgrade was on the PM page with the Inbox and Sent lists. If you checked certain messages to delete them, clicked on Selected Messages, the drop down/pop up menu was completely blank, just radio buttons on the left. You could only see what each button was for by hovering over it. Now the items are all named (again). If no one else noticed that, it may be that there are different files for a moderator. Anyway, that's fixed.
This upgrade has been a bit lagging so I'm glad it's now done. Once again, thanks to Mark who set the forum up in the first place and has looked after it for the past year, and more thanks to Andrew who will be taking over the job from now on. There was some slight confusion at the beginning of the process which made it necessary to lengthen the estimated downtime. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Testing to see if the 'signature' size reduction has worked....
Nope. Must have been the smallest text already..."...the isle is full of noises,
