    Alert! Non-closure of Forum

We've just been notified that the forum will have to be closed down while it is being moved from one server to another.

I'm trying to clarify when this will happen. I don't think it will be for too long but it is a complex operation..
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I couldn't get on about 15 minutes ago, so I'm wondering if it's already been moved.

Bryn, I don't know what you're talking about!

Btw, FutureQuest say it's because we're all posting too much so we need more space ...

Would it help if we all agreed to type faster?

I too had problems accessing the forum earlier. At first I thought it was a Wifi problem, but then realised other sites were ok.

I had problems getting through 2 days ago, which lasted 4 hours.

BTW has tonight's Prom thread been withdrawn?

I see you've found it in its new location. I've locked the concert thread as there's nothing for the moment to discuss and will open it when the repeat and iPlayer are available.

Well, it seems it wasn't necessary to close the forum and we have already been uplifted and relocated on our new server.

And now I'm going to bed as everyone seems to be in a fighting mood and violence is breaking out all over the place...

That's very small for your part of the world. The one in Lincolnshire in 2008 was 5.0 and we felt it in North Yorkshire. (I thought it was just the cat jumping out of the wardrobe.)

I seem to have missed the closure - Will there be a repeat? (Or, even better, a podcast?)
