I'm bowled over by all the kind messages of goodwill from fellow Forumites, many thanks to you all.

Two years on and unfortunately the blood graft failed with the lymphoma returning. However, to my amazement and delight, last week I was offered what is called Car-T cell treatment, which effectively means your white cells are collected, duly modified in a lab then reinjected into your system. Advances have been made so quickly in the last two years that this is now the preferred treatment over a graft. I got the diagnosis on Tuesday and had a consultation two days later, incredible service. I am now waiting for a date in August to be admitted. I feel so very lucky to be in such good hands and they are talking about a possible ten years of normal life before the lymphoma coming back again - who knows what developments will be available by then?

I shall certainly be taking headphones, laptop etc into the sterile hospital room for three weeks and hoping to catch up on my listening. Although last time there was such an army of people coming in and out doing tests that I never got through a full work!

Sorry for going off-thread, but did so want to express my thanks. Very happy to see that the Forum is still up and running, well done to all concerned.

Once that happens, the simple form should route, I imagine, to the FoR3 website where there will (eventually) be a forum link. Not sure, but forms like for3.org/forums/forum.php (the forum homepage) may need to be adjusted by Mark.

It's also possible that the for3.org email addresses may need to be adjusted.

NB Customer services don't always know what they're talking about.
Not at all. It strikes me that in contradistinction to most other customer “ services “ this one actually explains what’s going on in a timely manner .

The way I currently do it is generally quicker - since I use several different machines. Also the bookmarks either take up space, or get drifted off to a separate menu I noticed in some browsers.

Very best wishes for this - and don't apologise for going off thread, as I won't either!

Gosh! Your life is complicated compared to my simple iPad and Mac, where the site appears on my browser Favorites home page and (if a session is not already open) I just click on the icon.
I occasionally get logged out if I open another window in my browser though.

Read “iPad and iPhone”, otherwise ditto!

Don't apologise MickyD. We're all rooting for you
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                      ...
At least we don't get a message saying you're experiencing a higher volume of enquiries than expected and that although we're currently 97th in the queue our message is important and will be dealt with as soon as a colleague becomes available.
