Discussion of individual members on open forum.

For time to time the Hosts/Administrators receive complaints about individual members. These usually relate to personal attacks, some of which do indeed "cross the line" in the opinion of the Hosts. When this happens, it is often possible to resolve the issue amicably by private messaging. A warning may be given, but if it goes unheeded, the next stage will be the offending member being put on "pre-mod", something many internet forums do automatically for new members. In the most serious cases, a forumist may be banned.

Some have tried to circumvent "pre-mod" by re-registering under a new alias - something breaks House Rules do not allow, so these accounts will be removed, unless there is a good reason that has been discussed with the Hosts. When a member tries to stir up other forumists to fuel a dispute on open forum, such threads will be deleted. Discussion of other members, if it is needed, should be done by private message only, and the content of these discussions should not be revealed on the forum.

Pre-mod is usually a short-lived situation. Just how short is in the hands of the members concerned.
