    Your attention please!

I have six browsers open: three are showing a new logo (PC IE9, Mac Opera and Camino), two are showing the old one (Mac Safari and FF5) and one is showing the original vBulletin logo (PC FF4).

    Any advance on that?

The header is very bold and very much bigger, rather nice, eye catching. As to the rest, re colours, not so much yoghurt and Germolene but those nasty cheap pink wafers available from Lidls at 17p per pack. Better than a Jammy Dodger though.

All caches purged, pages reloaded ...

And how the dickens did the old vBulletin logo come back again - in one browser?

And never mind about caches, what can you see, what browser?

'What is this prattling of infants? Let them be returned to their mothers. There is work for men, I tell thee, Macumazahn, we shall go out and slay, again as we once did in [that other novel of our exploits that I havent actually read]; aye, that was a great battle and I must tell thee, is a memory well fitting for two such as we. Ah, Macumazahn, will we shed blood again, will the axe swing yet again as in the days of my pride? I am old, my friend, and my beard is grey, yet my arm is still strong and Inkoosi-kaas is still keen. There will soon be blood enough, aye, blood!'

In case readers are completely bemused, this is a reference to 'Alan Quartermain', a novel from the last half of the nineteenth century by Rider Haggard and hugely popular in its time, but a bit forgotten today. It is the sequel to 'King Solomon's Mines' which I believe is one of the most - perhaps THE most - famous adventure novel for children that was ever written. But other contenders would be welcome. I adopted my pseudonym from the name of the true hero of the book, a great Zulu warrior and ferocious exponent of the battle axe. The copy on my shelf, once the possession of my grandfather and now mine, is a treasured possession. There is a lot of fighting, and no little slaughter. And the illustrations are wonderful.

'Koom! It will be a good fight. I have spoken.'

Perfectly happy with the colour scheme, by the way.

                  What a terrible colour!

I think I've now, erm, 'hacked' the logo prob. But I'm going to leave it for a few days as I have other things to do. (Like getting a 'Sorry I forgot your birthday' card for my step-mother )

                      Angel’s Delight (yuk!)

The header on my screen is still in pink with black letters, and it seems to have grown in size. Shouldn’t it look somewhat differently by now? Not that I am all that worried.

The letters are now dark grey rather than black. The title is indeed larger than the original one and there's a strapline beneath it. Those are the changes to date.

I still hope to change the look of it but have spent enough time on it for the present.

The header is definitely black on my screen but I am really not worried. Forget colours and have a good weekend. Once again, thank you very much for your hard work.

Ilike the pale blue grey at the top ff and the black print shows up well. I hope this stays personally.

I think it will remain like that or very similar, with the logo slightly reduced. When I finally achieved my aim (lower image Msg #9) two nights ago, I didn't like it - too strong .

that makes two of us. It is more quite to the eyes than the pinky one.
