there is a minor problem - I browse with both javascript and images turned (hence I never ever saw what others described as the garish R3 nor the photos) - on this board it can be quite tricky to select the last post from the index page as often the mouse hovering near it opens up some large enclosing box that means when I click on the still visible 'last post' I get instead some page re the poster (or a no acess page if I'm not logged on)

Yes, you do have to be careful to click in the small arrow, rather than the name.

Thank you, to JohnB and Bryn and others.

Yes, it's a problem relating to screen settings and I can, if I want to, now get what I should be seeing by altering things as you suggest.

There are reasons why this PC is set as it is, and as I expect that there may be a few - even if just a coiuple - of others who will have the same experience I'm now glad that I raised the matter!

        bws and thanks again,

        S-S!

Perhaps ff could add the solution to the 'FAQ' section.

(Whether anyone actually looks at the FAQ is another matter.)

The FAQs are the default ones. I could probably add things if people frequently ask them
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

You're too honest, ff. Take a leaf out of the weekly DVD charts, worked out weeks before they are released.

                Sounds logical enough to me!
