      If enough of us emailed, tweeted, face booked or whatever, Petroc and said cut the chat and just play the music he might just do that. Well perhaps not - I suspect his own voice is beautiful music to his own ears!

        Well, it could mean he's battling with his superiors who have dictated it MUST be a 'Breakfast Show" and it MUST interact via social media - because it goes with the BBC brand.

        Given that it doesn't take a lot of brain to work out social media interaction won't be universally popular, you'd think they'd allow just one BBC service to be free of it.
