A manual database backup will be taken at about 10pm this evening. For the duration of the backup the database will be locked, so it may not be possible to post for a while.

Thank you for posting, Andrew. The forum is NOT being closed on this occasion as the work involved is only a back-up. But as Andrew says, there is a possiblity that people may try to post while the database is locked, and so be (very) briefly unable to do so.It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world. -
