Re new posts which are/were not poring over the entrails of the election, I initiated one which I feel was relevant to how things go or will develop in the post election period, and wait for the "promises" or aspirations to gradually fall by the wayside.
I'll leave it there for the moment.

I should say that the main reasons he gave were that he did want to engage in serious political debate (and felt he had had some enlightening discussions here - as well as unenlightening ones) and that the Hear & Now board was not offering him enough interest.It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
