They sometimes appear but not in the edited original post title or in thread listings!

Certainly something odd here.
I experimented by changing the thread title again (to Thread Title Changed); didn't affect BO's OP or the appearance in the listings, but it did when clicking on the thread.
Reverted to style with dates (but still not showing correctly).Comment

In what way is it not showing correctly? Some threads seem to have a space either side of the hyphen but others don't.
