The B&M recipes are stuck and are likely to overcook if not let out of the oven.

I now get a 'notification' (at least not by email too; just in the box) on threads that I've contributed to (in this case Young Musician), but no post that I made has been quoted.
        Any idea why?

That happened to me recently. In the end I decided that I'd accidentally clicked on the subscribe button. It notifies you that someone's posted on the thread so that you can go and read the new post. I had to dig around for a bit before I solved the issue.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Thanks: I've UNsubscribed (probably accidentally clicked, like you) so will see what happens.

The National Anthem has, perhaps symbolically, got stuck.

Why does this link, used in posts in both New releases and What Classical....look different in the two instances?

Ravel: The Complete Works With Piano. Aparté: AP321. Buy 6 CDs or download online. François-Xavier Poizat (piano), Philharmonia Orchestra, Simone Menezes

Indeed, and that's how it appears for me here and in New releases, but it appears as a string of http text in the What Classical...., as does the Amazon link (not sure if they ever look otherwise!).

I don't know, but the link claiming to be to Presto links to Amazon.
