The next project for FoR3 is a listener survey on R3 presentation - both the way the programmes are conceived (at station/producer level) as well as what one expects from the presenter; and, perhaps, the way the various programmes are scheduled. This survey will be focused on the classical music programmes.
It will be a chance to say what you like, don't like and would like but don't get. All pretty open-ended.
The survey will be emailed out to all registered supporters (i.e. those who receive the regular newsmailing). That usually means about 20% of those forum members who are online at any given moment, so if you are among the other 80% and would like to participate, send me a PM. I hope to send it out next week.
I think this is 'lobbying' in the best sense. Yes, we are an 'interested' group but that doesn't mean we shouldn't let Radio 3 know what we think; what we believe Radio 3 should be as a serious cultural broadcaster. The wider the participation, the better. [Any queries - start a thread on Talking About Music]
