Does the BBC iPlayer iPad app lose all downloaded videos when it updates? I thought I'd downloaded a whole bunch to watch, but the app seems to have updated yesterday, and everything seems to have disappeared. I didn't think they would all have time expired.

First - I'm surprised to see this in Announcements. Maybe I put it here by mistake?
Secondly, since the first post I have seen a loss of several other downloads from the iPlayer, both on iPads (2 different 1st gen. models, and one 3rd gen model) and on a Google Nexus - Android. The last episode of Line of Duty has disappeared from all the machines we have access to - which is to put it very politely - rather disappointing. I don't intend to pay for a download of that, or to buy the DVDs.
