    Rushing to catch up before the Proms are chopped off BBC Sounds I thought Paul Lewis’s K 595 was a highlight of the season.

      A curiosity Henry Wood's arrangement of PIctures - but rather monotonous and not a patch on Ravel's extraordinary imagination and orchestration.

        The latter, when discussed many eons ago on the forum, was pretty much dissed by posters, to my great surprise. Being new to the forum I kept schtum at the time.

          I suppose with all its grand and noisy orchestration Henry Wood's might be regarded as more faithful and more Russian.
