      I know pronunciation is incredibly important, but I hope you'll all forgive me for bringing up the completely trivial matter of the absolutely stupendous performance of Dvorak 7. Glorious strings (esp. in the bass) and spectacular horn playing. It appeared to go down well in the room, too...

        Thanks for the tip - one of the very few concerts I’ve missed. Also plays to my theory that the BBC bands this year are often outclassing others with more effective PR operations like the Aurora , Sinfonia Of London , and Resonanz …

          An enjoyable concert but I thought Piedmontesi’s Beethoven PC4 the highlight .A sound Dvorak 7 but nothing to write home about to my ears .
