As elsewhere, the 'set list' tonight is archived above, where again I listened to this Prom so that the rest of you don't have to ;) . More seriously, though, Tom McKinney did kindly name the three female backup vocalists, and I was then able to trace their full names via a web search, to archive their names properly here. (JR only mentioned their first names during the show.) I was also able to track down the BBC Proms digital program(me) and add it to the original listing, which I've done also with the other Glasshouse Proms and their respective digital programs.

I confess that I didn't know at all about Jordan Rakei before seeing his name in this year's Proms listings. His style seems generally understated, which put me somewhat in mind of the Nick Drake Prom, although I would rank Nick Drake as the far more interesting songwriter. JR mentioned that working with an orchestra was on his artistic wish list, and he did seem genuinely happy and pleased that this Prom with Royal Northern Sinfonia gave him this chance. To be honest, I don't think that the orchestral arrangements did much for the songs, which may be par for the course in these kind of situations where these two different music genres meet and/or collide. But I suppose that this is the equivalent at the Glasshouse Proms of the Royal Northern Sinfonia doing its "BBC Concert Orchestra" crossover thing.
