The Korngold Violin concerto has (perhaps surprisingly) featured twice on BBC MM CDs.

I must confess to getting it mixed up with the Goldmark concerto, as that is the coupling on my other recording on the shelves, a Naxos one.

I like Korngold’s concerto . Perlman and Vilde Frank’s recordings are outstanding . Shame the Goldmark never gets a spin in concerts.
