Just watched on iPlayer (fast-forwarding through everything other than the music) and very much enjoyed it.
The Beethoven vocal introduction worked well in context, and (though I'm never sure that improvisations haven't been carefully worked through in advance) it was obvious that they all enjoyed the Vivaldi very much indeed. We just missed a true improvisation when the cittern player nearly took control when Pekka Kuusisto went off to replace his bow.
