I know feelings are are running very high at the moment, but please can we avoid personal brickbacks and name calling, keeping to the arguments instead.
Is tripartisanship over the SNP's bid to retain the £ bullying?

Things must be bad at the Institute of Wood
PG Tips is merely referring to the democratic process. This process might give rise to things any one of us may not like. You'll need to get used to not always getting your own way on things.

According to my professional definitive references, something might be considered "undemocratic" only if it fails to accord with the above standard.
Therefore, with the aid of simple logic, I have (against all the odds) somehow managed to deduce that the British Monarchy, existing as it does with the clear approval of a very large majority, is indeed worthy of the term "democratic".
If, however, you demand a full referendum on this matter (or indeed any other) Mr David Cameron, MP for Witney, is undoubtedly the man to contact!

the "democratic" process where no one is asked and it's assumed that we are all in favour of the "Windsors" because they are so lovely and "hard working" ? :mrarseicon:
I'm not sure whether I have ever "got my own way" nor do I have any desire for "my way" to be the "way" for everyone else

All we need is for the queen to say that she doesn't want to be queen of Scotland and it's a shoe-in for Annie Lennox :-)

NO ... I was merely responding to the question posed by the OP, Mr GongGong
However, I am in broad agreement with your usual forthright analysis here. Apparently 'Red Ed' the leading posh boy' on the Labour side, has now called for the Saltire to be flown on buildings all over England, Wales & N. Ireland. Things appear to be getting more desperate and bizarre, by the day.
However, I must endeavour to be fair. For the first time in my life I'm beginning to feel quite ashamed to be a Scot, knowing that around half my fellow-countrymen and women appear to have brains not much larger than the average garden pea, and, even worse, that would seem to include a few of my closest relatives.
Bad times, Mr GongGong, bad times ...
