Contrast that with the imo very disappointing coverage from the BBC who have inter alia allowed Nigel Lawson to promote a wholly unscientific argument against climate change; given undue and almost certainly unjustified voice to the opinion - mainly from the farming community - that lack of dredging and the failures of the Environment Agency are principally to blame; and virtually ignored the issue on the farmer-friendly Countryfile programme where the question was posed in all seriousness whether farming communities were being sacrificed to save towns and cities.
