You might actually learn something in the discourse
rather than parade you tired old obsessions with Gay people ?
Or better still just come out of the closet Pee you know you want to and i've been reliably told it's not that bad you know , you might actually make some friends ?

Re Mr Pee's emergence from the closet, I offered to fall in love with him in an earlier posting, even promising to to send flowers, but I'm afraid that his lack of response can only mean rejection !
What a lucky guy I am ! ( Men are such beasts ! )

At the risk of presenting a less than ideal analogy, the late and much lamented Shura Cherkassky once wrote of a Schumann transcription of mine "it is well written, but I do not approve of changing Schumann's works" which, notwithstanding my immense admiration for his work, is a strange statement given that Schumann's works remain intact despite what I'd done, just as Chopin's Études do despite Godowsky's Studien über die Etüden von Chopin (and Cherkassky's statement might seem stranger still given how he habitually altered Schumann's works every time he played them!) - the point here being that opposite sex marriage likewise remains intact and the laws governing it have not changed in Australia.
Ah, Australia, yes; once again, for the sake of proportionality, we should perhaps bear in mind that we're discussing a country whose population is less than 23m - i.e. only some 1 person in 310 in the world is an Australian living in Australia...

Can you imagine what it's like being told one moment that you are a full member of the human race and then that the government has changed its mind?

As posed the above statements are too simplistic to be credible, in my view.

It is, however, perhaps more important still to point out that very few people (namely that tiny minority opposed in principle to the institution of marriage in all its forms) would likely argue with the statement that "marriage between a man and a woman is good for society"; the upholding of same sex marriage rights is not for the purpose of undermining opposite sex marriage, as almost any homosexual will tell you if asked.

Thanks for reminding me of the sheer glee apparent in much of his playing.
