Though arguably a woman can be seen, and herself sees, less in a burqa than in a niqab, as your illustrations show.
(As far as I'm concerned it's not a sudden interest. I'm always irritated when people confuse the two, because it means they're not clear what it is they're talking about. And the analogy you want me to draw with the word marriage doesn't really work, though it would take me too long to explain why.)
.
However, I'm not surprised it would take you too long to explain. If one word can mean 'anything you like' so can any other?
In any case, the difference between a burq'a and a niqab is about the same as that between a cap and a hat.
I wouldn't get too irritated. You can rest assured members know what they are talking about and are also perfectly capable of recognising diversionary pedantry when they come across it!

I don't remember anyone here saying that.
So the logic itself was sound. I'm merely wondering whether the same shouldn't apply to niqabs and burq'as and why we might think the strict definition and meaning of these words are so special?
I readily admit I just haven't the brains to figure that one out myself ...

I think you really will have to look up the reference, otherwise your misremembering will become serious misrepresentation.

Surely that would lead to- misinterpretation - and there's not chance he would see that as a misdemeanour....only misses, misdirecting misbehaving and causing mischief....even the word that best describes him has a mis in it.....(but in his eyes suddenly it doesn't mean what you thought it did - damn a misconception)....bong ching
