    But they had to! What else was there? After all, as we could see from all the news channels, nothing else was happening in the world - everything had literally stopped for the royal baby - wars, famines, corruption, climate change...

          Republicans are a right miserable lot, Bbm. They always quote from the Guardian and are the direct descendants of Cromwell's Puritan Cropheads so no great surprise really.
